Dr. Haiyun Ma received his Ph. D. in Polymer Chemistry and Physics from Zhejiang University (Hangzhou, China). He then did his postdoctoral research at University of Michigan on Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering since 2008. The University of Michigan is one of the largest and most comprehensive research universities in the nation with top ranked dental, medical and engineering schools on the same campus. The laboratory of biomedical engineering is featured as one of five outstanding biomedical engineering laboratories by the Annual Report of the Whitaker Foundation.
