Prof. Mario Gauthier is one of the “High-end
Foreign Experts ” in HUST. He
has given three excellent lectures for students in the College of Life Science
and Technology on Dec. 11th, 2012.
Professor Mario Gauthier
graduated from McGill University in Chemistry and holds the degrees of Bachelor
of Science (B.Sc.), Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree from this University.
He worked as a research fellow at the University
of Freiburg from 1989 to 1991. After that, he was
appointed as an assistant professor at the University of Waterloo, and in 1996,
he was upgraded to associate professor. Now he is full professor in waterloo. Prof. Mario Gauthier majored in Polymer Chemistry
which includes anionic
polymerization and ionic polymer. Since 1996，he has published more than 50 papers mainly
in those authoritative journals in polymer field like macromolecules , polymer.
