Highlights

1.The GO sheets retarded the aggregation of MWCNTs in PCL via the strong π interactions.

2.The dispersion of MWCNTs in PCL was obviously improved and tuned by GO sheets.

3.Three different dispersion states were achieved by controlling the amount of GO sheets.

4.The nanocomposites with almost no aggregations exhibited the highest tensile strength and elongation at break.
